The Climb Out of the Darkness in the world's largest event raising funds and awareness for the mental health of new families operated by Postpartum Support International. The Climb is a community walk and international fundraiser for survivors, providers, and members of the community to come together.

Join Team Regina this year and help us continue this important work right here in our YQR community! Proceeds from this event go directly to the Regina Perinatal Health Network (RPHN) as we offer FREE support for new and expectant families here in Regina and surrounding area! Our local Climb will take place Saturday, June 26th! We will update details as soon as we can based on current COVID restrictions so stay tuned! Please register using the FREE option as Climb T-shirts will be made locally and are available for purchase by contacting sara@rphn.ca.

Raising awareness for perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, The Climb brings our community together to shine a light on a darkness we often don't speak about. Perinatal mood and anxiety disorders are the most common complication of pregnancy and childbirth.

We share stories of hope and celebrate recovery as we gather together to raise money, raise awareness and give a voice to those who no longer have one and walk together to symbolize our 'Climb' Out of the Darkness.

 ABOUT THE RPHN:

As a program of the Regina Early Learning Centre, the Regina Perinatal Health Network provides services to perinatal families experiencing, or at risk for developing, a Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorder (PMAD). We believe every birthing person should have access to education and support that is inclusive and culturally appropriate through the perinatal period. All families should have access to prompt and effective treatment for perinatal mood and anxiety disorder free from barriers and biases.

Our services include prenatal education and coordination of care for those living in Regina and surrounding area. We assist birthing people in developing a clear pathway to treatment with a strong sense of community surrounding them, we help them make informed decisions about their care and build confidence in their ability to parent. We offer a holistic approach to care and because perinatal health is our area of expertise, we have become a trusted resource in the community.

Thank you for being a part of this event and for your continued support! If you or someone you know is struggling with there mental health during their pregnancy or postpartum period, please reach out. We can help!
